Job Summary
Part‑time Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner covering maternity leave in NHS Highland First Contact Services. Based in primary care practices around Fort William, works alongside GPs and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced physiotherapy services, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Provide injection therapy and prescribing where appropriate. Work within rural general practice settings, coordinating care with the Lochaber Physiotherapy Team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Physiotherapist with advanced clinical knowledge in MSK assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
- Previous specialist experience in helping patients recover from musculoskeletal problems.
- Injection skills and prescribing must either be held or pursued during employment.
- Full current driving licence and ability to use a car for work purposes.
- Experience in self‑directed and flexible working environments; job‑share and part‑time applications considered.
