Our Global Compliance and Reporting team helps businesses deal with complex tax compliance and reporting demands. The team works with large, multinational companies to develop and implement practical, sustainable tax strategies.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager for our Leeds Office. The role offers the chance to work with some of the largest and most exciting clients, supporting them as they navigate a rapidly evolving tax environment.
Your key responsibilities
- Grow and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
- Lead the delivery of technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements, and related consulting projects
- Participate in tax audit engagements
- Provide exceptional client service
- Collaborate with other tax specialist teams
- Supervise, coach and mentor staff, fostering staff development
- Lead team initiatives and ensure successful team outcomes
To qualify for the role
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a corporate tax practitioner
- Qualification of ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA, Tax Inspector, full Technical Training course, Law qualification, Tax specialist qualification, or an equivalent breadth of knowledge
Skills and attributes for success
- Significant experience in corporate tax from practice or in‑house background
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Negotiation skills and the ability to sustain an opinion with stakeholders
- Business development ability to identify and convert opportunities into work
- Effective time‑management and resilience under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiastic team player who can build and maintain effective teams
- Experience coaching and developing junior staff
