Practice Overview
Blackfriars Medical Practice, located at St Andrews Community Hospital, Largo Road, St Andrews KY16 8AR, is a well-established, friendly practice offering 4-6 sessions. The practice prides itself on providing excellent patient care while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance in the scenic area of St Andrews.
It is situated in a purpose‑built community hospital with many facilities, including a MIU department and inpatient rehabilitation beds, and shares the building with neighbouring Pipeland Medical Practice, Physiotherapy, X‑Ray, and an adjoining Pharmacy. The practice is a training practice with six GP partners and a dedicated team of supporting clinicians, including ANPs, Mental Health Nurses, Pharmacy, and CTAC, who help care for our list of approximately 9,800 patients.
The practice provides medical cover for the hospital wards and Minor Injuries Unit, and has strong links to the University of St Andrews.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care during scheduled sessions.
- Provide medical cover for hospital wards and the Minor Injuries Unit.
- Collaborate with a team of GP partners, clinicians, and supporting staff.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
