Salary: Up to £28,300.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Overview
We have an opportunity for a Hotel Services Lead to join the team in the Hotel Services department. This full‑time role requires covering a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
- Manage and support the Portering and Housekeeping teams to ensure timely and professional delivery of services across all areas of the hospital.
- Oversee core portering duties, including patient and goods movement, site security, and gas management, where applicable.
- Ensure all housekeeping services, including room and theatre cleaning, laundry handling, and room setup, meet policy and infection prevention standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, and consultants, managing feedback on hospitality services and ensuring satisfaction.
- Ensure staff compliance with all mandatory training and that service delivery adheres to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the team.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- Previous experience managing operational teams within hospitality or healthcare environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A basic understanding of MS Excel and administrative processes.
- A hospitality or facilities services qualification (desirable).
- An understanding of cleanliness and infection control standards in a clinical or hotel setting.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
