Goodman Masson is partnering with a dynamic, rapidly growing marketing & advertising business to appoint a hands‑on Financial Controller.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, broad finance role within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial company. The business partners with rapidly growing global brands and is investor backed, with ambitious growth plans already underway.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with senior leadership, you’ll have full ownership of the UK P&L – from reporting and compliance through to driving process improvements and supporting commercial decision‑making.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
- Leading year‑end reporting and managing the audit process
- Cash flow forecasting
- VAT returns and tax compliance
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders and founders
- Producing KPI and financial analysis to support strategic decisions
- Driving process, systems and control improvements
- Managing external providers for transactional finance
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of job costing, and project‑based revenue models
- Hands‑on and comfortable working in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge and partner with senior leadership
- Strong on cash flow, cost control, and process implementation
