Technician

Vehicle Technician – Stockport

Our client, a main dealership, seeks an experienced vehicle technician to work within their busy workshop with this excellent, highly desirable market‑leading brand. The role requires a Level 3 qualification and a minimum of five years’ experience in a main dealership. A MOT licence is preferred but not essential. Salary is negotiable and includes a range of additional incentives. Manufacturer‑backed ongoing training up to Master Technician and development are offered, especially in hybrid technology, providing progression within the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various motor vehicles.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Use hand tools, power tools and assembly techniques for efficient repairs.
• Interpret and follow schematics for accurate repairs and installations.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing vehicle concerns.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a main dealership.
• MOT licence preferred.
