Nouveau Care, a trusted staffing agency, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support care homes, nursing homes, and similar settings across Eye, Suffolk, UK.

Role Description

Work as part of a dynamic care team fulfilling temporary staffing needs for care homes and nursing homes. Provide high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for vulnerable adults, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report on residents’ health and well-being to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
• Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
• Minimum of 6-12 months care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
