HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

HGV Class 1 Driver role at TieTalent. Bedford area; delivering 2 – 4 stores per day. Start date ASAP. Various start times and shifts available; temp to perm if required. Excellent opportunities up to £25.50ph (rates may vary by assignment).

.role details include 2 – 4 store deliveries per day with additional days subject to working time directives; AM/PM/Night shift options.

Responsibilities

• Pre journey vehicle checks.
• Complete vehicle check sheets, reporting all damage or defects prior to leaving site.
• Uplift cages and pallets from the previous delivery.
• Complete all paperwork/delivery notes and return to the transport admin clerk.

Requirements

• You must have a minimum 6 months HGV C1 driving experience.
• No more than 9 penalty points; IN, DD, DR, TT codes are not accepted due to insurance clauses.
• Current UK Driving licence, Driver Qualification Card and CPC card.
• A good understanding of WTDrules and regulations.
• Physically fit and able to pull pallets and cages.
• Be professional, courteous, reliable and punctual at all times.
• Have your own PPE.
