As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the provision of exceptional professional pharmacy services. The focus of your role will be to act as Responsible Pharmacist, provide support to the rest of the pharmacy team and support the development of the business. You will help in ensuring a high quality patient and customer experience is maintained.

The Senior Bank Pharmacist assists the section lead pharmacist in managing and coordinating their respective clinical section. This includes the responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day provision of ward pharmacy services, including allocation of staff and provision of cover in the event of sickness.
Other duties include:
- Leading on the training and induction of clinical pharmacy staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported to carry out their duties.
- Deputising for the section lead pharmacist in their absence.
- Collaborating with other senior staff to ensure the delivery of an integrated pharmacy service, assisting with the implementation strategic plans for the development of the Chase Farm site.
- Participating in medicine related clinical audit, research and development and development of trust-wide guidelines.
- The post holder will be determined as a Band 8a bank pharmacist, should they have evidence of the following:
- Completion of Clinical Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of the Trusts Essential Leadership Modules (ELM) or equivalent.
- Conducted a service development.
- Formally line managed staff with evidence of objective setting and appraisal.
