Patient Catering Manager

Mitie are recruiting for an organised and experienced Patient Catering Manager to lead the Patient Catering services at St Georges Hospital in Tooting. This is a large hospital with around 1000 beds and 200 catering staff. The role will include close liaison with the client dietetics team and Mitie colleagues.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality patient catering services across the contract
• Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and ensure expectation are consistently exceeded.
• Allocate and plan resources strategically to ensure first-class service delivery.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage team members to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Ensure Compliance: Uphold all company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Manage Finances: Meet financial targets with a strong commercial approach, managing both income and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Catering, Patient Catering, Healthcare experience is essential,
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification,
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience managing large teams,
• Experience working with special dietary needs,
