HGV Class 2 Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver on behalf of our client based in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with consistent hours and local routes.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle for kerbside collection of recycling
• Working as part of a team with a loader/crew
• Local multi-stop collections (no long-distance or nights out)
• Average 7.5-hour days, paid for job and knock
• Early starts – 07:00 AM
• Monday to Friday – No weekends!

Pay & Benefits:

• 14.50 per hour
• Weekly pay – every Friday
• Overtime opportunities available

• On-site parking

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points (no DDs, DRs, or IN10s)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willing to assist with loading if required
