Salary: GBP44075 – GBP47181 per annum

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a M&E Maintenance Project Manager for 6 months initially with the possibility of extension/permanent in their BelfastOffice.


Responsibilities



  • Respond on a day to day basis to requests from building users, for urgent repairs to their mechanical and electrical systems and infrastructure including kitchen equipment and other services deemed necessary.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to requests for day to day emergency maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical and Electrical Services installations and equipment in all properties.

  • Carry out regular visits to properties in relation to day-to-day maintenance problems and planned maintenance programmes.

  • Appoint and supervise contractors of various disciplines to carry out maintenance repairs and planned maintenance projects.

  • Issue and being accountable for works orders to contractors, for maintenance works and tendered projects.

  • Inspect, supervise and instruct Contractors of various disciplines in relation to the quality of work in progress.

  • Co-operate withDRD,DENI, Water Service, Local Councils,NIEand Health and Safety Inspectorate to enable maintenance projects to be carried out effectively and in compliance with relevant legislation.


Essential skills required



  • Have aHNC/HNDor equivalent in Mechanical & Electrical discipline with a minimum 2years’post qualified experience.


OR



  • Have anONCor equivalent in Mechanical & Electrical discipline with a minimum of 4years’post qualified experience.


OR



  • Alternatively, a minimum of 5years’experience in a Mechanical & Electrical discipline.

  • Proven ability to achieve challenging targets and objective through the engagement of teams

  • Proven ability of building high performance teams, delivering and achieving effective results on time and solving problems through informed decision making.

  • Proven ability of building and promoting a strong and consistent Service Delivery culture throughout a large complex andmulti-site organisation.


Remuneration



  • £44,075, perannum, plus discount benefits.
