We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team in Nottingham. What you will do:



  • Assess the needs of vulnerable adults, ensuring their views, wishes, and rights are central to decision‑making.

  • Develop, implement, and review person-centred care and safeguarding plans.

  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.

  • Undertake safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments, identifying and managing risks appropriately.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.

  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to individuals, families, and carers to promote wellbeing and independence.


Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

  • Current registration with Social Work England.

  • Previous experience within Adult Social Care, with experience in safeguarding desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, safeguarding legislation, and relevant statutory guidance.

  • Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
