Nightshift HSE Advisor

Astute’s Power team are looking to recruit a Nightshift HSE Advisor on an Energy from Waste Project in North London on a 12-month contract.

Key skills

• Perform the Audit protocol and scheduled required by Law.
• Be a QHSE ambassador and coach, support and train project staff on positive HSE actions, behaviours and compliance.
• Manage the compliance of the HSE requirements on field.
• Review the Risk Assessments included in the Method Statements of the subcontractors.
• Assist the Project and Construction Managers in HSE matters.
• Manage HSE training needs with the HSE Manager.
• Controlling site HSE systems and have regular discussions on site about HSE performance with Site Managers and Contract Managers.
• Conduct regular assessments of construction sites and inform site management of unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.
• Must hold a NEBOSH and have experience within the Energy from Waste sector.
• Mechanically minded with a strong understanding of HSE regulations and safe working practices relating to lifting operations.

• Immediate Start

• 12 months minimum
• 12 hrs (18.00pm – 06.00am)
