Role Overview
We are seeking an Engagement Manager to join Capgemini Engineering. This role is ideal for candidates with a proven history of delivering effective project management in complex Defence Engineering environments. The successful candidate will have a strong desire for career advancement and will put customers at the center of delivery.
As a Senior Engagement Manager, your main focus will be to drive the growth and strategy of projects that converge the physical and digital worlds through technology, engineering and manufacturing expertise to boost our clients’ competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Client liaison
- Bid management
- Project planning
- Meet financial and non‑financial targets for assigned accounts, including leading profitability improvement initiatives
- Forecasting and managing project finances
- Forecast growth and strategy
- Drive delivery‑led selling across assigned accounts
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience delivering technical projects in a leading/management role from pre‑sales, bidding, delivery, optimisation and closure in the defence sector
- Experience in Maritime, including integration and assurance processes for deploying technology onto naval platforms
- Experience within strategic and transformation consulting
- 10 years of experience in project and programme management
- Leadership of large, complex, multi‑functional teams; preference for experience delivering software development projects
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance
- Proficiency with project finances, revenue recognition, margin improvement and month‑end reporting
- Proven ability to plan and organise projects effectively with excellent attention to detail
- Solid understanding of business and finance, project planning and scheduling, budgeting, cost management, revenue recognition and contract management
