With a strong commitment to Net Zero, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to play a key role in supporting continued growth.nnThe Rolennn As Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the business to provide practical, solutions-focused legal support across a range of commercial and project matters within the renewable energy space.nnn You will be responsible for:n

    n

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial and project contracts, including EPC agreements, PPAs, and O&M contracts
  • n

  • Supporting renewable energy projects from development through to operation
  • n

  • Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business
  • n

  • Identifying and managing legal risk while enabling commercial objectives
  • n

  • Working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • n

  • Supporting the wider legal function as the business continues to scale
  • n

About Youn

    n

  • A qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 2–8 years’ experience in legal roles (in-house or private practice)
  • n

  • Strong background in the renewable energy sector, ideally with exposure to BESS and/or wind projects
  • n

  • Experience working with EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements
  • n

  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities
  • n

  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • n

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • n
