Overview
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced SHE Manager to join a globally recognised manufacturing business with a long-standing history of innovation and operational excellence. As part of a world-leading international group, this organisation manufactures high-quality products used across a wide range of industries and high-profile commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and control health, safety and environmental risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SHE performance and compliance across the site.
- Develop and implement the site’s SHE strategy in alignment with group standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a positive safety culture through behavioural safety programmes and leadership engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analyse SHE performance data and prepare management reports to support decision making.
Requirements
- Non-Negotiable: Previous SHE, HSE or EHS management experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Experience leading audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Experience managing environmental compliance, permits and sustainability programmes.
- Knowledge of process safety management and operational risk assessments.
- Experience leading behavioural safety programmes and driving a positive safety culture.
- Ability to analyse SHE performance data and implement effective improvement plans.
- Previous experience working as a SHE Manager within the UK.
