Job Description
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide expert advice on medications and over-the-counter products to customers.
- Ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceutical stock.
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff to maintain a high level of service.
- Offer healthcare advice and guidance tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks.
- Stay updated on changes in pharmaceutical regulations and practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote patient health and wellbeing.
- Working hours and days are Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and colleagues.
- A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.
- Strong clinical knowledge and consultation skills.
- Experience delivering NHS and private services.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
