An exciting opportunity has arisen at Monnow Vale Integrated Health and Social Care Facility on Trefynwy Ward, a 19-bed GP-led unit. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Health Care Support Worker to join our dedicated and professional nursing team, providing high-quality care and support to our patients and helping to deliver excellent nursing care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to patients, their families, and carers within the hospital environment.
- Deliver excellent nursing care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Support patients in their rehabilitation journey on the 19‑bed GP‑led unit.
- Work 12‑hour day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Act as a positive team player, adapt to change and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Positive team player with adaptability to change.
- NVQ Level 2 qualification desirable but not essential.

This post is currently advertised at Band 2 and is under review within the Health Board as part of a national review; it may progress to Band 3 with an updated job description. If appointed, the manager will keep you informed and support you through any changes, including relevant training requirements.
