Location: Hillingdon

Contract: Permanent (Term-Time Only or Full-Time options available)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary clinical team.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist educational setting, supporting children and young people with Autism, SEMH needs, developmental trauma, and neurodiverse profiles to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual pupil needs.
  • Manage and develop an Occupational Therapy caseload with support from a designated clinical supervisor and site lead.
  • Work collaboratively with education staff, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to create positive outcomes for pupils.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and training to school staff to support therapeutic approaches across the setting.
  • Contribute to person-centred therapeutic plans that promote independence, engagement, and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and produce clear, concise reports.
  • Work within professional standards and the organisation’s Occupational Therapy Ways of Working framework.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Experience working with children and young people, neurodivergent individuals, or those with learning, emotional, or mental health needs.
  • Strong understanding of Occupational Therapy principles and their practical application.
  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and multidisciplinary working skills.
  • Interest or experience in Sensory Integration or sensory-informed practice is advantageous.
