GVC are assisting a well-established small animal clinic in Scotland with the recruitment of an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and highly supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with 4+ years’ UK small animal experience who is looking to work alongside an experienced team, develop clinically, and enjoy an excellent work-life balance.
The Role
- Full or part-time considered (30+ hours per week)
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE (FTE)
- 1.5 weekends in 8 (full-time) or up to 1 in 10 (part-time)
- No out-of-hours
- Consult-only role can be considered
- Join a collaborative team of 11 experienced veterinary surgeons
- Strong support for certificates and continued professional development

You’ll be joining an experienced clinical team, with vets ranging from 3 to 18 years qualified. Several team members are currently studying towards certificates in areas including Internal Medicine and Exotics, and the practice actively encourages career progression at every stage.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ UK small animal veterinary experience
- Confident working in a first opinion environment
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
