Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care for frail elderly residents, including those with dementia.
• Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers to ensure smooth operation of the nursing home.
• Organise and conduct inductions and orientations for new care staff.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Maintain and assess the home’s high‑quality care standards and uphold its reputation as a recognised centre of excellence.
• Perform administrative duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified nurse – RGN or RMN and registered with the NMC.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for elderly/dementia care.

• Work autonomously and independently while building strong relationships with management and care staff.
