Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M40 Oldham area for an experienced Teacher to join the team from September 2026.
This is a full-time role teaching a Year 5/6 class. The school seeks a confident, strong classroom practitioner who can quickly build positive relationships, maintain high expectations and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Have recent experience teaching within KS2
- Be confident teaching a Year 5/6 class
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be reliable, adaptable and committed
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous UK primary teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
Please note: this role is not suitable for ECTs due to the level of experience required.
