Motor Fraud Solicitor – Birmingham / Manchester – Hybrid – up to £55,000
A leading national law firm is seeking a Motor Fraud Solicitor to join its growing Counter Fraud team in either Birmingham or Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a market-leading practice, handling a varied caseload of complex and high-value motor fraud litigation on behalf of major insurers and commercial clients.
As a Motor Fraud Solicitor in the Birmingham or Manchester office, you’ll manage your own litigated caseload, taking ownership of case strategy from the outset through to resolution. Working alongside an experienced and collaborative team, you’ll handle technically challenging fraud disputes while playing a key role in the continued growth of the department, with excellent opportunities for ongoing development and career progression.
The Role
• Managing a complex caseload of litigated Motor Fraud matters
• Developing and executing case strategy from instruction to resolution
• Handling high‑profile and technically challenging fraud disputes
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence and evidence for litigation
• Engaging in business development and client relationship activity
• Supporting departmental growth through client engagement initiatives
• Mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the Counter‑Fraud team
The Candidate
• Experienced Solicitor or Litigation Executive managing a Motor Fraud caseload
• Strong technical understanding of fraud litigation
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
• Confident prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and confident in liaising with clients and colleagues
• Team‑focused with the ability to work independently
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
