HGV Mechanic

Connect Appointments is recruiting a HGV Mechanic to join an established logistics business based in Widnes.

Our client operates a busy transport operation, requiring an experienced HGV Mechanic to support fleet maintenance and repairs.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Working week of Monday to Friday
• Your choice of 6am to 4pm, or 8am to 6pm
• 19 to 20 per hour – dependent on experience

As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:

• Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on HGV vehicles
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults efficiently
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Ensuring all work meets relevant safety and compliance standards

To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:

• A minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience as an HGV Mechanic
• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is preferred but not essential
• A reliable, professional approach to work
