Senior Internal Audit & Assurance Lead (Hybrid)

Trafford Council is recruiting a Principal Audit and Assurance Officer to lead and shape our Internal Audit service. You will work with the Head of Audit and Assurance to deliver high-quality assurance and add value across the organisation.

You will oversee complex audits end-to-end, applying a proportionate, risk-based approach and building trusted relationships with colleagues and clients. Strong communication and governance focus are essential.
