Frontline Contact Officer (101/999)

Dorset Police invites applications for the role of DCM – Contact Officer based at Bournemouth Police Station. You will handle 101/999 calls and online inquiries, delivering empathetic, calm responses and directing people to the right help.

Starting salary is Scale D (£31,012–£34,039 per annum) with a 14% shift allowance and the potential for a £2,500 weekend allowance after training; training lasts about 12 weeks, with triage work beforehand and some training travel to Winfrith.
