VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Plymouth
Basic Salary: Up to £34,000 Depending on Experience
OTE: £40,000
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week – Monday – Friday & Saturday Mornings on a Rota

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
- Carrying out repairs efficiently to achieve first-time fixes
- Following manufacturer and Health & Safety procedures
- Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring a safe working environment
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
- Communicating with customers where required to assist with technical explanations
- Ensuring every vehicle is treated with the highest level of care
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician
- Strong technical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Own tools and toolbox
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
