System Training Officer – Liquidlogic, ContrOCC and Associated Portals (x2)

Fixed-Term Contract: September 2026 – October 2027

Are you a confident trainer who enjoys helping people learn new systems and feel supported through change?

Devon County Council is looking for two System Training Officers to support the implementation of Liquidlogic, ContrOCC and associated portals as part of the wider JACS Programme (Joint Adults and Children’s System).

These roles will help colleagues across Children’s and Adult Services feel ready, confident and able to use new systems, portals and connected digital tools in day-to-day practice. The posts will have a particular focus on supporting the Children’s Services implementation, while contributing to the wider programme training approach.

You will be part of an established and supportive training team with an agreed training approach, shared tools and a clear strategy. You will not be working alone – these posts will add capacity, continuity and practical support to strengthen the training offer across the implementation.

The role is expected to include face‑to‑face training across Devon, alongside virtual delivery, digital resources and user support. We are particularly keen to attract trainers who are able to support in‑person learning with teams across the county.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver engaging classroom, virtual and one‑to‑one training.
  • Create and update learning materials, guides and digital resources.
  • Support user testing, training environments, portal readiness and adoption activity.
  • Provide practical support to staff before, during and after implementation.

About you

  • Experienced or confident in delivering training, learning support or system guidance.
  • Able to explain technical information in a clear, practical and accessible way.
  • Comfortable engaging a range of audiences, both in person and online.
  • Organised, adaptable and positive about working in a programme environment.
  • Collaborative, team‑focused and willing to contribute to a shared training approach.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant Devon‑wide social care systems implementation, while working as part of a supportive training team with established tools, resources and ways of working.

You will help colleagues build confidence, prepare for change and make effective use of Liquidlogic, ContrOCC and associated portals as the programme moves towards implementation.

If you are an engaging trainer who can support face‑to‑face learning across Devon and wants to be part of a major transformation programme, we would welcome your interest.

Two fixed‑term posts available from September 2026 until October 2027.

Interview Date: 8th and 19th September 2026.
