Job Description:

Travel Consultant – Cycling Holidays

Do you love travelling, cycling and exploring Europe?

We’re recruiting for a highly respected specialist tour operator that creates tailor-made cycling holidays for customers looking to discover destinations at a slower pace.

Think vineyard trails in France, quiet coastal routes in Croatia, picturesque villages in Italy and unforgettable journeys through some of Europe’s most beautiful landscapes.

Every holiday is tailor-made and every client speaks to a knowledgeable consultant who helps build the perfect itinerary from scratch.

Travel Consultant – Cycling Holidays – What will I be doing?

This is a varied role where you’ll manage each booking from start to finish.

You’ll:

  • Speak with customers to understand exactly what they’re looking for.
  • Recommend destinations and itineraries.
  • Create bespoke holiday quotations.
  • Confirm bookings.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers.
  • Manage every aspect of the booking until departure.

If you enjoy seeing a booking through from the very first conversation to the finished holiday, you’ll love this role.

Travel Consultant – Cycling Holidays – What experience do I need ?

We’re far more interested in attitude than previous cycling travel experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Loves travelling.
  • Is passionate about cycling or the outdoors.
  • Has explored Europe independently.
  • Is naturally curious.
  • Enjoys talking to people.
  • Has previous sales or exceptional customer service experience.
  • Has a consultative, relationship-led approach.

You may have travelled extensively through Europe, been interrailing, completed cycling holidays yourself or simply love active travel and helping people create memorable experiences.

Perhaps you are a well travelled recent graduate with a passion for the outdoors and are looking for somewhere you can start a career in travel?

What else do I need to know?

You’ll become part of a genuinely supportive business that believes happy employees deliver exceptional customer service.

Benefits include:

£26,500-£32,000 depending on experience.

Generous annual bonus.

Educational trips.

Annual company events and overseas trips.

Hybrid working once established – predominantly an office based role.

Friendly, social culture.

Beautiful office just a short walk from the seafront.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career with one of the UK’s leading specialist tour operators.
