A market-leading Tier One infrastructure organisation is expanding its Supply Chain and Category Management team in Scotland.

This is a senior, autonomous role supporting a growing portfolio of major power and civil engineering projects. You’ll shape how key subcontractors are identified, engaged and managed, working closely with Commercial and Project teams from early involvement through to delivery under NEC contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop supply chain strategies across major power and infrastructure projects.
  • Map the market and identify suitable civil engineering partners.
  • Engage subcontractors early and manage their progression from ECI through to project delivery.
  • Support NEC Option A subcontracting arrangements.
  • Build strategic relationships with key supply chain partners and improve supplier performance.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Procurement and Project teams across Scotland.
  • Use data and market insight to identify risk and improve decision-making.
  • Provide strategic direction and confidently manage challenging stakeholders.

Required Experience:

  • Experience within a construction, infrastructure, engineering or utilities environment.
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge, ideally including Option A.
  • Experience engaging and managing civil engineering subcontractors.
  • A good understanding of ECI and the transition from early involvement into delivery.
  • The ability to work autonomously and shape strategy, rather than simply manage procurement processes.
  • A calm, credible approach and the confidence to challenge stakeholders.
  • Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.

What’s on Offer

  • £65,000–£70,000 plus car allowance and bonus.
  • Exposure to major power and infrastructure programmes across Scotland.
  • Genuine autonomy and regional influence.
  • The opportunity to help shape a growing Supply Chain function.
  • Hybrid working and long-term career development.

If you’re looking for a role where you can influence supply chain strategy and take real ownership across major projects, contact Adam at a.venting@bramwith.com
