Paediatric Complex Care AssistantLocation: Sidle, HalifaxPay: Weekday nights £16.02, Saturday & Sunday £16.78Shifts: 10pm‑8am waking night shifts, 7 nights per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to a 5‑month‑old boy with complex health needs.
- Assist with daily clinical tasks including tracheostomy ventilation, PEG feeding, oxygen therapy, and medication administration.
- Promote comfort, calmness, and positive interaction during nights and as needed.
- Support the family during waking night shifts and help facilitate communication with the community team.
- Remain available for future day‑shift opportunities as they become available.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with complex care needs, particularly neonatal, tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and oxygen therapy.
- Proficient in enteral feeding techniques and ventilation support.
- Knowledge of medication administration and ability to follow clinical protocols.
- Calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive approach to patient care.
- Strong paediatric background and willingness to work within a compassionate team.
