WE’RE HIRING – QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) OPERATIVE
Location: Cranswick HU7Shift: Afternoon Shift – 3:00pm to 11:30pmPay Rate: 16.48 per hour
Are you an experienced QA Operative looking for your next opportunity? Join our team at Cranswick HU7 and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:* Monitor product quality and ensure specifications are met* Carry out quality checks, CCP monitoring, product sampling, and microbiological swabbing* Complete hygiene, fabrication, and glass & brittle materials audits* Check raw materials, packaging, labels, and factory equipment* Operate and verify X-ray systems and complete required quality checks* Manage non-conforming products and maintain accurate QA documentation* Support retailer and third-party audits* Work with production teams to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:* Previous QA experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is essential* Level 2 Food Safety qualification preferred* Good understanding of food safety, GMP, quality systems, and health & safety* Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills* Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
