Classroom Teacher Key Stage 1 – Fixed Term Contract
Fixed Term from 11th November 2026 to 31st August 2027 (9 months) – Maternity Cover
The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher to teach in Key Stage 1 to cover a maternity leave.
We are looking for someone who is caring and flexible, who will enjoy working as part of our excellent staff team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate being an effective classroom teacher and show commitment to the children making progress in a supportive and engaging environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A commitment to the Christian ethos and distinctiveness of our Church School.
- Outstanding classroom practice that is creative and caring with the ability to make learning fun.
- High expectations and a commitment to raising standards for all pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team and to inspire and support others and form excellent relationships.
- The ability to create a well managed, stimulating and effective learning environment for children.
- Able to use effective assessment to accelerate children’s performance ensuring the best progress for every child.

As part of the recruitment process an internet online search will be undertaken on shortlisted candidates.
