HGV Class 2 Night Driver / Yard Marshal
Permanent Salary 41,808 + 3,000 Bonus + OvertimeMonday to Friday | 7:00pm – 5:00am | Guaranteed 48 Hours | Weekends Off
We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a leading logistics company in Manchester as a Night Yard Operative. This is a role offering excellent pay, job security and a fantastic benefits package. Immediate starts available with full paid training.
To be considered for this role you must have the confidence and strong character to safely manage and marshal a busy yard during the night shift.
The Role
- Manage and marshal a busy transport yard overnight
- Support the arrival and departure of trunking vehicles
- Complete HGV Class 2 trunking duties as required
- Assist with transhipping loads when necessary (manual handling involved)
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence. Minimum 12 months experience
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN10 convictions)
- Willing to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and Criminal Record Check
Pay & Benefits
- 16.75 per hour (PAYE)
- 25.12 per hour overtime (6th shift)
- Guaranteed salary 41,808
- 3,000 annual bonus (750 paid quarterly)
