HGV Class 1 Driver – New Pass Drivers Welcome

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers to join our clients operation based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced drivers and new pass Class 1 drivers looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and professional transport team.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The role offers regular daytime work with 06:00 start times and average shifts of 10-12 hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
- Completing daily vehicle safety inspections
- Carrying out deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally
- Following planned routes and schedules
- Ensuring compliance with Driver CPC, Working Time Directive and Drivers’ Hours regulations
- Completing delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentation
- Representing the company professionally at customer sites
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV Class 1 / Category CE Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of transport legislation and road safety
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable and customer-focused approach
