Night Warehouse Operative -MHE Upskilling
AM2PM are recruiting for Night Warehouse Operatives who would like to upskill to:
- LLOP Drivers
- Reach Forklift Drivers
- HLOP Drivers
- VNA Forklift Drivers
- PPT Drivers
For our client based in the Lutterworth area. Our client are a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.
Details of a Night Warehouse Operative:
- The shifts are Static 6pm-6am 4 on 4 off. Day Shifts are also available at 6am-6pm 4 on 4 off
- Prior to your MHE Certification your pay rate will be £12.91
- Once Upskilled: Nights £17.01, Weekend Nights £17.92, Days £15.58, Weekend Days £16.47
Requirements of a Night Warehouse Operative:
- Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
- Ability to work at height for long periods of time – 20m high
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills
Duties of a Night Warehouse Operative:
- Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment – please note, the racking in the warehouse is 20m high.
- Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
- Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
- Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
- General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
- All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
