Van Driver

Driver Hire Gatwick  is currently recruiting for a reliable 7.5T Delivery Driver to join one of our prestigious clients based in Crawley. It is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. You will be delivering a variety products to different locations, including occasional long-distance deliveries (Wales). Training will be provided. However, prior experience is preferred.

Job Specification

• Monday to Friday – starting at 05:00 am
• Driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle
• Up to 10-20 deliveries depending on distance.
• Ensuring items are packed, protected, and secured correctly
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers and colleagues at all times

Requirements

• Category B Driving licence
• Experience driving a 3.5T vehicle
• Must live within 10 miles of Crawley
• Own transport to travel to and from work
• Physically fit – this role involves some manual handling
• Comfortable driving in London traffic

• Weekly Pay – hourly rate £14.25 an hour (pay rate includes holiday pay)
