Architect or technician

Overview

Farrells is looking for architects or technicians to join its London studio. We currently have multiple exciting, high-density mixed-use residential schemes in and around London and are looking for Architects or Technicians with a minimum of two years’ experience to join our growing planning and delivery teams. This is a great opportunity to oversee all aspects of the planning or detailed design and construction process of large mixed-use projects with a strong emphasis on high-quality housing.

Responsibilities

• work collaboratively in a design team through detailed design stages
• lead the coordination and production of technical architectural packages
• lead the coordination and production of architectural planning drawings
• produce pre-planning presentations and reports to support planning applications
• oversee and mentor junior staff
• 2D and 3D modelling and technical drawing production
• attend and/or lead client meetings and/or coordination workshops

Qualifications and skills

• knowledge of UK Building regulations
• experience working on UK projects
• experience working on residential London developments is preferred
• experience in producing architectural packages for tender and/or construction is beneficial
• strong Revit skills – minimum two years
• experience in specification writing would be beneficial but not essential
• strong communication and presentation skills
• knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
• knowledge of AutoCAD, in addition to Revit, is useful
• knowledge of Enscape is beneficial
