Autism Teaching Assistant

SCG are currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work 1-1 in one of our outstanding schools in New-le-willows. The role will require you to have good knowledge of the national curriculum. A successful Teaching Assistant will have good experience working with primary school children inside and outside of a classroom setting. Some safeguarding training is provided. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – WA12
• Position – Autism Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – Full time
• Start date – ASAP
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate 120 per day
• Hours – 8:00 am – 4.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent is preferred
• Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
