Job Description:

We’re looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on Facilities & Business Support Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our site and provide operational support across the business.

This is a varied role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring our facilities, compliance and workplace standards are maintained across four warehouse operations. Alongside facilities management, you’ll support employee administration, coordinate onboarding and provide general business support to managers.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Compliance

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the facilities across four warehouse sites.
  • Carry out daily walkarounds to ensure buildings, grounds and work areas remain safe, secure and well maintained.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Arrange repairs, lighting maintenance and general building upkeep.
  • Manage external contractors, suppliers and service providers.
  • Coordinate fleet servicing and maintenance.
  • Arrange FLT servicing, inspections and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain the grounds and external areas.
  • Conduct Health & Safety inspections and support fire risk assessments.
  • Carry out regular checks on alarms, fire exits and site security.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Liaise with utility providers, landlords, contractors and the local council regarding the premises, including council tax/business rates where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvements across the site.

Business Support

  • Prepare offer letters, contracts and new starter documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding and new starter inductions.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files.
  • Process annual leave requests and return-to-work paperwork.
  • Provide administrative support to managers.
  • Assist with general office administration and business projects.
  • Ensure company policies and documentation remain up to date.

About You

You’ll have experience in facilities, office or operations management and enjoy working in a varied, fast-paced environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Facilities or site management experience.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and suppliers.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Confidence dealing with people at all levels.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Strong administrative and Microsoft Office skills.
