Hybrid Children’s Social Worker: Safeguarding & Support

Northumberland County Council is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join Children’s Services on a hybrid basis, based at County Hall, Morpeth. The role offers £27.56 per hour and is likely to be extended beyond the initial start date in August 2026.

You will manage a complex mixed caseload spanning CIN, CP, and LAC, working directly with children, young people and families—across crisis points—to safeguard welfare and achieve positive outcomes.
