Tax and Private Client Solicitor – 4+ PQE

A boutique Legal 100 (by revenue) and Top Tier Legal 500 firm with an excellent office near the City of London is looking for a experienced Solicitor to join their fantastic Private Client team. The firm is over 250 years old and, with over 200 lawyers on staff, they are a well known name in the London legal sector; especially with matters of wills, trusts, tax, and probate.
Their Private Client team manages a diverse caseload of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth international matters, with client worth typically falling between £50m to £500m. For a strong solicitor with experience in international private client matters, this is an exciting opportunity to join a new firm and gain top-tier experience as they develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting a varied caseload of HNW and UHNW tax and private client matters from initiation to conclusion.
- Working alongside partners and other lawyers with their caseload of files dealing effectively with a variety of complex matters.
- Input and assist with the development of the department.
- Involvement in business development and client pitches
- Dealing directly with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care, taking instructions and ensuring full compliance.
Skills and Experience:
- UK qualified Solicitor 4+ PQE years post qualification experience (other levels will be considered) from a reputable London firm.
- Strong experience with private client matters including HNW and UHNW client.
- Experience handling international tax matters.
- Proven experience of managing matters with minimal supervision and assisting senior solicitors with complex matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills interacting with clients and colleagues.
- A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for self development.
