Excellent opportunity for a Trainee HGV Trailer Fitter Technician Engineer to join a well-established company. Salary: upto £36,000 per annum depending on experience. Job Type: Full Time / Permanent. Location: Haydock. Benefits: 5% employers pension contribution, annual holidays.

Job Description

• Mechanical servicing and repairs on HGV Trailers and occasional trucks
• MOT Preparation
• Carry out PMI inspections
• Diagnose faults and repair effectively
• Ensure Trailers are repaired to a high standard, road worthy and safe
• Complete digital worksheets and service sheets on tablet provided
• Use tools effectively and safely, keeping in line with good health & safety practice

Requirements

• Mechanical experience on HGV Trailers is desirable
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, fitting and maintenance
• Must have worked in a workshop setting
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Hours: 42.5 hour working week; 8am-5pm
