Volunteer Finance Trustee — Governance & Impact

Overview

We’re looking for a volunteer Treasurer to help ensure that the Charity’s finances remain well managed. This is an important but rewarding role, ideal for someone with financial experience who would like to make a meaningful contribution as part of a friendly and supportive Trustee Board in challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil the duties of a Trustee and ensure that effective financial controls and procedures are in place.
• Regularly report to the Board on the organisation’s financial health.
• Support and review the work of the in-house finance team and produce regular quarterly reports for the Board.
• Support strong governance through a Trustee Board with a wide range of skills to enable the charity7s ongoing work and impact.
• Help lead and guide progress, working with the Chief Executive, Chair and other Trustees to deliver the strategic plan.
