The successful candidate will carry out a variety of production and cleaning jobs within the manufacturing facility including machine operation, product packing, machine cleaning and cleaning duties across the wider facility
Production Operator (Dayshift)Job Ref No: WS/PO/08/26
The Role:
- Operating automated machinery, Using SOPS (training provided)
- Monitoring production process and recording results in a quality monitoring system (Foods Connected) to ensure compliance.
- Closely monitor production quality and adjusting equipment settings to ensure compliance
- Carry out a Line change over when instructed to do so by your Production team leader / Management.
- Ensure quick preparation for production and secure all required materials to aid the line’s quick start.
- Maintain lineside stocks through accurate use of shopfloor control system.
- Flexible and adoptable to help teams across different parts of the process
- Ensuring good audit ready standards at all times
- Contribution to production performance and quality targets to deliver high-quality products
- Forklift licence (training given)

Essential Criteria:
- Previous production experience in a high-volume food processing environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision.
- Have a high standard of spoken and written English.
- Desirable Criteria:
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Reach truck/counterbalance forklift license.
