We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our SEQOHS accredited Workplace Health and Well-Being team here at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role is ideal for degree qualified candidates who have experience of working in diverse settings.

Main duties of the job

You will provide specialist assessment advice and therapeutic interventions to Trust employees to support their rehabilitation and return to health. The role requires a proactive, team-focused approach and the ability to deliver high quality therapeutic services. Responsibilities include maintaining and promoting physical and mental health at work via virtual/face to face clinics and group work across the Trust.

Person specification

Experience

  • Extensive Occupational Therapy experience in diverse settings
  • Previous experience of working at Band 6 level
  • Previous experience of working within an Occupational Health setting

Skills

  • Information Technology skills
  • Use specialist knowledge to educate groups
  • Able to carry out assessments of physical and mental health function

Knowledge

  • Understanding of what the NHS Constitution means to you, and your responsibilities to public, patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registered
  • Training / experience equivalent to Post Graduate Diploma Level
  • Member of BAOT

Employer certification / accreditation badges

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
