Contract: Permanent term time only x2
Hours: 27.5 and 25 per week
Essential qualifications: NVQ level 2 catering or City & Guilds catering level 2 or equivalent — recognised food safety qualification level 2 or above.

The Role
The overall management of a school catering operation, monitoring and controlling the catering service to ensure that quality and consistency of service are maintained at all times.
Locations and Hours
Eatock C P School (BL5) – 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Term Time Only. Pro rata salary: Grade D scp 6 £16,151 to scp 11 £17,489 (hourly £13.47 to £14.58).
St Mary’s School (BL6) – 25 hours per week Monday to Friday Term Time Only. Pro rata salary: Grade D scp 6 £14,683 to scp 11 £15,899 (hourly £13.47 to £14.58).
About You
Great practical skills are essential for this hands‑on role. You will need to be determined, energetic with great organisational skills, used to cooking for large numbers, and ideally have a school catering background with an understanding of portion control, budgets and ordering.
