We’re partnering with a highly regarded global investment firm to appoint an experienced Executive Assistant to support a high-performing front-office investment team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to become a true business partner to Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts, playing a key role within a fast-paced investment environment. Alongside delivering first-class executive support, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Corporate Access, investor engagement and the commercial operations of a leading global investment business.

Initially offered on a temporary basis, the role has genuine long-term potential, with the intention of converting the successful individual into a permanent member of the team.

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys building trusted relationships and takes pride in anticipating the needs of senior stakeholders. In return, you’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team where you’ll be given the autonomy to make a real impact.

The Role

  • Provide Executive Assistant support to Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts and senior investment professionals within a busy front-office environment.
  • Build trusted relationships with the investment team, anticipating priorities and enabling executives to focus on investment decisions and client engagement.
  • Manage highly complex and ever-changing diaries across multiple stakeholders and international time zones.
  • Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, producing detailed itineraries and managing all associated logistics.
  • Organise internal and external meetings, conference calls and video meetings.
  • Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and wider Corporate Access activity.
  • Liaise with brokers, listed companies and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless coordination of meetings and events.
  • Process expenses and provide proactive day-to-day administrative support.
  • Assist with team projects, events and operational initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency and support the wider success of the team.

About You

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience gained within investment management, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, investment banking or another fast-paced financial services environment.
  • Experience supporting senior investment professionals, including Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts or front-office stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience managing highly complex diaries, international travel and changing priorities.
  • Exposure to Corporate Access, investor meetings, roadshows or conference coordination would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a naturally proactive approach.
  • Able to anticipate the needs of senior stakeholders whilst remaining calm under pressure.
  • Confident building relationships across all levels of the business with excellent communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

What’s on Offer

  • £65,000–£75,000 depending on experience.
  • Bonus payable from day one, including throughout the temporary contract.
  • Genuine temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects.
  • Hybrid working with four days per week in the office.
  • The opportunity to join a highly regarded global investment firm with an excellent reputation.
  • Work alongside Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts and senior investment professionals at the heart of the business.
  • Gain valuable exposure to Corporate Access, investor engagement and front-office operations.
  • A collaborative, high-performing culture where your contribution will be recognised and valued.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant looking to build a long-term career within investment management. Combining traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities with exposure to Corporate Access, investor engagement and front-office operations, the role offers genuine variety, excellent career development and the opportunity to become an integral part of a highly successful investment team.
