Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Location: Enfield and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus competitive on‑target earnings, overtime, and call‑out incentives.

Benefits

• Full‑time overtime available – pay time and a half
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Stand‑by payment: £140 per week
• Call‑out payment: £60 per job
• Call‑out rest period: 11 hours when on call

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarm systems (both addressable and conventional)
• Service and maintain emergency lighting systems
• Maintain fire extinguishers
• Work safely and professionally within the domestic and social housing sector

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing and maintaining both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
• Experience working within the social housing sector preferred
• FIA training/qualifications desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of BS5839‑1 fire alarm standards
• Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred)
